Mané grabs two assists as Senegal beat Niger

By SFC Media Sat 26 Mar Club

Sadio Mané’s Senegal maintained their 100 per cent record in 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying as they beat Niger 2-0.

Mané set up Hull City midfielder Mo Diamé, who opened the scoring in the 15th minute to give the Lions of Teranga an early lead in Dakar.

The hosts doubled their advantage 20 minutes from time when Omar Niasse found the back of the net, after excellent work from Mané to provide the cross.

The win leaves Senegal on nine points from their opening three qualifying matches in Group K.

Mané will hope to be involved again when Senegal face Niger away from home next Tuesday, with kick-off at 3pm BST.
