Koeman: Let's carry this form into West Brom

By SFC Media Thu 14 Jan Club

Ronald Koeman hailed Southampton’s win over Watford as a vital one and now wants his side to carry the same level of performance into Saturday’s game with West Brom.

Saints beat the Hornets 2-0 at St Mary’s, as they returned to winning ways in the Barclays Premier League, and Koeman reiterated how crucial a victory it was.

"It's a good win, in an important moment in the season,” he told youtube.com/southamptonfc. “We spoke about the situation and about the points and of course our ambition is to be higher on the table in the league and for that this win today but also next Saturday will be very important.”

Having now beaten Arsenal 4-0 and Watford 2-0 in their last two home league matches, Koeman wants his side to sustain that sort of form when the Baggies visit this weekend.

"We know what kind of level we can play and reach if everybody is really focused, and everybody was really focused [against Watford] and we need to continue that for this Saturday,” he said.
