Dani Osvaldo has joined Boca Juniors on loan until 30th June, Southampton Football Club can confirm.

The forward’s temporary spell with Inter Milan has been cut short, allowing him to move to the Argentinian side ahead of their new season.

Buenos Aires-born Osvaldo scored seven goals in 18 appearances during his time at the Giuseppe Meazza, having moved there on loan last summer.

He now returns to his home city for the next five months, with there being an option to extend the deal if Boca progress to the latter stages of the 2015 Copa Libertadores.
