Saints will play two low-key friendlies in the Netherlands and Belgium next week, the club can confirm.
Ronald Koeman’s men will open their pre-season schedule by taking on Dutch fifth-tier side EHC Hoensbroek, before crossing the border to play Belgian third division outfit KSK Hasselt.
Saints face EHC on Tuesday 15th July at 7pm local time (6pm BST) at SportPark de Dem in Hoensbroek. Fans are welcome to attend, with admission priced between 5€ and 8€ on the turnstiles.
The side then take on their second pre-season opponents – also known by the name of Sporting Hasselt – two days later, on Thursday 17th July, at the Stedelijk Sportstadium – again with a 7pm CEST/6pm BST kick-off time.
Tickets for Saints’ second game are available for 10€ from the stadium ahead of the match.
Both games will see the squad don the club’s newly-unveiled away kit, which you can see here.
It was originally planned for Saints to travel away for a high-profile European friendly between the games against Brighton and Bayer Leverkusen. However, this is no longer part of the schedule.
