Dani Osvaldo has been named in the latest Italy squad, taking Saints' international contingent to 13 players.

The newly-signed striker has been called up by the Azzurri for their upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.

Osvaldo is the 13th Southampton player to be selected for international matches, with the likes of Artur Boruc, Rickie Lambert, Maya Yoshida and Gastón Ramírez among those jetting off around the world over the coming fortnight.

Dani will meet up with his international teammates in Coverciano, near Florence, tomorrow lunchtime, before the squad then travels on to Palermo on Thursday.

Italy face Bulgaria in the Stadio Renzo Barbera on Friday evening at 7.45pm BST, before they then relocate to Palermo the following day.

The Azzuri then face the Czech Republic at the Juventus Stadium on Tuesday 10th September, also at 7.45pm BST, after which Osvaldo will return to Southampton ahead of our home game against West Ham United in a fortnight's time.

There will be a full international preview on saintsfc.co.uk tomorrow, with coverage of each game to follow over the next ten days.
