Programme Monthly and collectable has awarded Saints 'best feature' in their review of Barclays Premier League programmes from this season.
‘Life Story’ - an illustrated player biography which profiles one Saints star in each edition is described by the reviewers as, “Nothing complicated, but very effective…” which was key to getting the nod over Stoke City’s ‘Reproduction’ feature that also impressed.
West Bromwich Albion were awarded best overall top-flight programme, whilst Manchester City’s matchday publication ‘City’ won best design.
The Saints programme was also given a glowing write up in the December issue of 'Programme Monthly', which reads as follows:
“From the innovative black cover to the back, this issue oozes class, and is a credit to a club that have only just joined the top flight. The look is very consistent – simple and unobtrusive, an example to others that throw the kitchen sink at their layouts using all the tools modern software offers.
"A definite case of less is more. What is interesting is that, although there is not an excess of content, the material that is there is presented and organized so well that the reader is not left feeling short changed. A case of quality over quantity. A step up on last season, reflecting the team itself.”
This season’s 76 page edition of the Saints programme is packed with exclusive content and continues to offer terrific value for money.
