Forte Heads To Crawley

By SFC Media Fri 17 Aug Club

Saints forward Jonathan Forte has today signed for League 1 newcomers Crawley Town on a three-month loan deal.

The 26-year-old joins up with the Red Devils in time to be eligible for their home game against his former club Scunthorpe United tomorrow.

Forte's initial loan spell with Richie Barker's side will expire on 17th November after their match against Walsall at the Broadfield Stadium.

The Barbados international joined Saints in January 2011, memorably scoring twice in a minute during a 3-2 win over MK Dons as the Club went on to win promotion from League 1.

Jonathan spent time on loan with Preston North End and Notts County last season having found regular football hard to come by as Saints secured their place in the Barclays Premier League.
