Southampton FC Women can confirm their retained list following the conclusion of 2023/24 Barclays Women's Championship season.

Club captain Rosie Parnell has already been confirmed as one of the club's departures, after announcing her retirement from football.

Laura Rafferty, Lexi Lloyd-Smith, Megan Wynne, and Beth Howard will also be departing this summer.

After three seasons at her childhood club, Rafferty ends her stay at Southampton with 64 appearances and four goals as a key part of the 2021/22 promotion-winning side that reached the Women's Championship for the first time.

Lloyd-Smith, Wynne and Howard, who all joined in the club's debut season in the second tier, depart after two seasons on the South Coast.

Lloyd-Smith made 41 appearances and scored five times, whilst Wynne made 37 appearances with Howard playing eight times in goal.

Offers of re-engagement have been given to a trio of out-of-contract players, with Ella Morris, Katie Wilkinson, and Sophia Pharoah still in talks with the club.

The full retained list is as follows:

Kayla Rendell
Milly Mott
Lucia Kendall
Chloe Peplow
Rianna Dean
Benedicte Haaland
Molly Pike

Southampton Football Club would like to thank the departing players for their efforts during their time at the club, helping to secure our highest league finish in the Women's Championship during the last campaign, and we wish them all the best for the future.
