Saints recorded an immediate return to winning ways on Sunday as they overcame Sheffield United at St Mary’s Stadium.
Freya Gregory’s first goal for the club and Rianna Dean’s third in four games were the difference in a 2-0 win before focus moved to cup football.
Last season, Saints finished third in a five-team group in this competition, missing out on qualification behind Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

A new-look London City Lionesses, with renewed investment and notable summer signings, have had the same start to the season as Saints with two wins, a draw and a defeat in the league.
They suffered defeat against Sunderland in their last game and currently sit in sixth place in the Barclays Women's Championship.
In their cup outings last season, the Lionesses topped their all-Championship group to reach the quarter-finals where they were beaten 4-0 by Arsenal.
PREVIOUS MEETING
Our last meeting with London City came in the final home game of the 2023/24 season, as Saints signed off from St Mary's with a 3-1 win.
Molly Pike, Emma Thompson, and Rianna Dean were on target back in April to claim all three points in the league.

Speaking after her side's return to winning ways, Remi Allen looked ahead to Thursday's cup tie.
"I think it's about momentum, we've won the last game so we're in a good place, we want to play.
"It's also an opportunity to get players minutes that we need to get for them, so it's great to have another game so quickly to go again with high momentum."
