Current group topping Saints welcome last season’s Conti Cup champions Arsenal to St Mary’s in what looks to be a record-breaking fixture.
Having grabbed a bonus point against Bristol City at the Robins High Performance Centre in their first game of the group, Saints then travelled to Reading, where a much-changed side left it late to secure a 1-0 win through Lexi Lloyd-Smith.
Arsenal, who come into the group stage of the competition after exiting the UEFA Women’s Champions League, have a game in hand, but opened their campaign with a convincing 3-1 result against fellow WSL side Bristol City.
With over 12,500 tickets sold so far for the fixture, St Mary’s looks like it will be rocking as Saints take on Arsenal for the first time in their history.
