Southampton FC Women are delighted to confirm that five first team players have extended their contracts with the club.

Jemma Purfield, who joined the club last summer and missed just one game in the 2023/24 campaign, penned a one-year extension that will come into effect from the 1st July and keep her at the club until the summer of 2025.

Fellow full-back, Meg Collett - one of Saints' own academy graduates - has also agreed new terms that will begin from the 1st July.

Collett has signed a three-year deal that will run until 2027 and see her reach a decade with her hometown club.

Another player who has successfully made the step up from academy football in recent seasons is Milly Mott, who signed an extension during last season to keep her at the club until 2026.

Paige Peake also agreed terms during last campaign, seeing her extend her time on the south coast until 2026 as well.

Finally, Izzy Milne has agreed to an optional one-year extension, keeping her at the club until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Director of Women's Football, Marieanne Spacey-Cale, further explained: "We're delighted to confirm these contract extensions, as each of the girls have played a part in our journey in their own right.

"Some of them have been with us from the start and progressed through the ranks, whilst others have joined more recently as we've established ourselves in the Championship.

"We're looking forward to seeing the impact they'll continue to have as we hope to kick on again next season."
