We’ve teamed up with our official kit supplier, hummel, to stand together in the push for equality within the game.

Both Men’s and Women’s first-team players will be wearing specially designed Equality warm-up shirts this weekend to help shine a spotlight on respect and inclusivity for all, regardless of background, gender or belief.

We strive to make football an inclusive environment for everyone, working to make the club a place where everyone can be their most authentic self. We’re committing to that aim by challenging inequalities, removing barriers to inclusion and educating those around us.

This latest campaign in partnership with hummel builds on several initiatives we’ve carried out over the last few seasons such as the No Room for Homophobia campaign, launching the club’s first LGBTQ+ supporters group Rainbow Saints and launching our first dedicated female supporters’ group with Her Game Too.

Robert Pearce is our Inclusion & Diversity Manager: “We’re proud to be working with hummel to deliver this important campaign that promotes equality. As a club we continue to work hard day in, day out to create a welcoming place for all and eradicate discrimination from the game. We recognise this is a long journey and one we need everyone connected to Saints to get on board with.”

Allan Vad Nielsen is the CEO at hummel: “This jersey is more than just a piece of sportswear; it’s a symbol of our enduring commitment to equality and unity, and we’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Saints to promote this important agenda. In the world of sports, we’re all equal - regardless of our backgrounds, gender, or beliefs. Celebrating our differences is commendable, and through this new Equality Jersey our goal is to unite coaches, players and fans while inspiring positive change in our sports community and beyond.”

The shirts will be worn by players across the weekend of the 30th September and 1st October as our Men’s First Team take on Leeds and our Women’s First Team take on Durham.

As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, the warm-up jerseys worn during the campaign will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be donated to Saints Foundation’s projects which focus on promoting equality.
