Manager Russell Martin has confirmed Ross Stewart will be named amongst the substitutes at Leeds on Saturday, with the hope of making his first appearance since November.

The striker, who made two substitute appearances before Christmas prior to suffering a hamstring injury, will be part of the travelling party heading to Elland Road.

With the play-offs looming, Martin aims to give Stewart minutes in Yorkshire.

"Big Ross will be on the bench, which is fantastic for us. I want him to get on the pitch and I want him to be ready for the play-offs.

"I think it could be a big boost for us. He’s trained brilliantly and is in a great place, champing at the bit, furious at me for not having him on the bench [last] Saturday, so we were in here Saturday morning putting him through a big session. Now he has that opportunity."

Elsewhere, the boss confirmed Sékou Mara is the only injured absentee, although others may be rested ahead of the play-off semi-final.

"Some will play, but they just won't play the 90 minutes because that would be madness," he said. "We need to get them ready and some will maybe not play and we'll just get them ready and wrap them up a little bit for the play-offs.

"Sekou is out, he’s the only one, he felt his adductor. The shot on his left foot when he went through [against Stoke] and he felt that, so he’ll be out but he should be back next week."
