Saints B team lift PL2 Division 2 title
Southampton FC's B team lifted the Premier League 2 Division 2 trophy at Snows Stadium after being crowned as league champions last month.
The squad needed results elsewhere to confirm their title win and gathered at Staplewood to watch Leeds fall to a 2-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion in April that confirmed their promotion as champions.
Following the win, the official trophy presentation was carried out at AFC Totton's Snows Stadium as Matt Hale and David Baker, the Premier League's Academy Support Manager, presented the squad with their medals and trophy.
Saints return to the top division of Premier League 2 after two years away, having last played in division one in the 2019/20 season.
