Saints enter Hampshire FA's county competition at the second round stage, where they were knocked out by a strong Portsmouth side last season.

A brace from Jimmy-Jay Morgan wasn't enough to advance as the League One club, who fielded several first team players, advanced with a 5-2 win.

Seven members of last season's squad were Under-18s and Saints, who officially enter the tournament as Under-21s, are expected to field another young side against their island opponents on Tuesday evening.

Cowes Sports, who are based in West Cowes on the Isle of Wight, advanced to the second round after a 4-2 penalty shootout victory over Hythe & Dibden FC, with the scores goalless at the end of 90 minutes.

The Yachtsmen play in the Wessex League Premier Division - step nine of the football pyramid - and are nine-time winners of Hampshire FA's county tournament, second only to Saints with 17 trophy wins.

The knockout fixture on Tuesday evening will be decided by 90 minutes and a penalty shootout if required, with no extra-time to be played.
