Sam McQueen joins the Saints Big Bike Challenge
He's a Saint through and through – we're proud to announce that Sam McQueen will be taking on the Saints Big Bike Challenge 2023!
Sam will join this year’s riders for another epic cycling fundraiser, which for 2023 covers the 250 mile run down from Anfield in Liverpool back to St Mary’s Stadium.
will take place over the Premier League season finale weekend, with the group making it back to Southampton in time for Saints’ game against Liverpool.
There are still spaces to take on this epic challenge side by side with Sam and a team of fellow fundraising legends. It's all for a good cause as you'll be raising money for Saints Foundation's life-changing work in Southampton, supporting programmes that help people of all ages live happier, healthier and more fulfilled lives.
Sam McQueen came on board as a Saints Foundation ambassador last year, after injury forced the home-grown Saints player to take early retirement. In addition to his role advocating for our work in the community, Sam now coaches under 18s in the Southampton Academy.
