Saints youngsters' Premier League 2 fixtures released
Southampton’s Under-21s face a trip to Leicester City on Friday 16th August to kick-off the 2024/25 Premier League 2 campaign.
The first competitive game for new Head Coach Simon Rusk will be on the road against the Foxes, with another away game against West Ham United on matchday two.
Saints’ first home game will conclude the first month of the season, as they host reigning champions Tottenham Hotspur on 30th August.
After their winter break, the second half of the campaign will begin with consecutive home games in January against Fulham and Newcastle.
The regular season will end in April with a home game against Blackburn Rovers before a trip to Derby County concludes the campaign.
Like last season, the top 16 sides in the revamped PL2 format will then qualify for post-season play-offs and battle it out for the league title.
