Safe standing: 2,500 seats to be safe standing for Stoke match
For the first time at St Mary's Stadium, fans in the Northam Stand will be able to take advantage of safe standing for our final home game of the regular season against Stoke on Saturday 27th April (3pm).
More than 2,500 seats in total, including blocks 38 to 43 in the current home end, from rows BB to OO, have now been fitted with rails around the existing seats. The rest of the Northam Stand will see safe standing fitted over the summer.
And you can be part of it - seats in blocks 40-46 are now on sale in specific sales windows. Find out when you can buy to be part of the new safe standing Northam on our Season Tickets page.
Safe standing comes as part of wide ranging changes to St Mary's Stadium to upgrade the matchday experience.
St Mary's is changing for the better
The most notable changes see the introduction of safe standing across the entirety of blocks 38 to 48, the relocation of away fans to the Chapel / Kingsland corner and the Family Area moving to the Itchen / Chapel corner for our Under-14 family audience.
There'll also be wider redevelopment of the St Mary’s site to improve the external areas and overall footprint of the stadium behind the Northam and Chapel stands.
This work will transform these areas into fan parks, complete with outdoor entertainment space and more food and drinks options.
Take a look at the FAQs on our Season Tickets page if you have any questions about the changes and what they'll mean.
Tickets are sold out for our final home game of the season against Stoke. However, you can list and may be able to find an available seat through the Ticket Exchange.
