After a disappointing league defeat to Millwall last weekend, Saints can welcome the distraction of a trip to high-flying Liverpool in the cup.

ONES TO WATCH

Bobby Clark: After an impressive display off the bench in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, the 19-year-old could be rewarded with a first senior start for the Reds.

Without a number of first team regulars due to injury, Clark will want the chance to impress Jürgen Klopp who could be tempted to give some of his promising youngsters a chance from the start against Saints.

Ché Adams: Scoring at the weekend, Adams also has two goals from the three FA Cup games he's been involved in so far this season.

While Russell Martin could make changes as he has done in the earlier rounds, Adams will be pushing for a second successive start at Anfield.
