Mara departs for Strasbourg
Southampton Football Club can confirm that it has today agreed the transfer of Sékou Mara to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
The permanent move brings to an end a two-year spell at St Mary’s in which the French forward made 64 appearances, scoring eight goals.
Mara now returns to his homeland to play under former Hull City boss Liam Rosenior.
The club would like to wish him well for the future, and thank Sékou for his efforts during his time at Southampton.
