Nathan Tella continued his good form at Championship side Burnley with his fifth goal of the season which secured the win at Coventry on Saturday. All this and more in this week's Loan Watch...

It was an unbeaten week for Tella in Lancashire, starting off with 90 minutes at home to Stoke City on Tuesday during a 1-1 draw.

The Saints' loanee then notched his fifth goal in 11 Championship games away at Coventry on Saturday, the winner as the Potters rose to 4th, just two points off the summit.

“When you have a player who plays with a smile on his face it usually tells you everything," said manager Vincent Kompany.

"I think that is what we have, he has a spring in his step and thinks he can do anything at the moment and we don’t want to stop that."

Another player who featured in that draw on Tuesday night at Turf Moor was Will Smallbone; the midfielder featuring for the duration for Stoke City during the 1-1 draw.

The unbeaten week continued for Smallbone and Stoke, who went on to beat top-of-the-league Sheffield United 3-1 at Bet365 Stadium.

Stoke moved up to 15th in the Championship after just two defeats in seven.

It was another successful week for Dan Nlundulu and Cheltenham Town down a division in League One.

The Saints forward assisted the winner against Bolton on Tuesday night, bringing his goal contributions for the season up to six in 12 games.

Elsewhere in League One Kegs Chauke, who had a successful night in the Papa Johns Trophy on Tuesday, started life under Exeter City's interim manager Kevin Nicholson with a positive.

The 19-year-old was a stoppage time substitute during the win at 5th place Barnsley, looking to build on his minutes in weeks to come.

In League Two, centre-back Dynel Simeu continues to go from strength-to-strength at Tranmere Rovers.

Simeu played the full 90 minutes once again, typifying his importance to Micky Mellon's side, as they claimed a fourth consecutive clean sheet at Sutton United.

The 2-0 win saw Tranmere rise again in the standings, now up to 12th in League Two.

In National League, Jake Vokins continues to pick up valuable minutes for Woking.

The full-back came off the bench in the 61st minute during the draw at Southend, before playing the final 19 minutes of the 3-2 defeat at home to Notts County.

There were also 90 minutes each for Jack Bycroft, as Taunton fell to defeat at Ebbsfleet United, and Will Tizzard, who helped Chippenham Town to a 1-1 draw at St Albans City.

Finally, up in Scotland, Kazeem Olaigbe made two substitute appearances for Ross County during a mixed week of results which saw his send end on a crucial 1-0 win at Livingston.
