Lis joins Göztepe on loan
Southampton Football Club can confirm goalkeeper Mateusz Lis has joined Göztepe S.K. on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old will head to the Turkish TFF First League outfit after spending the 2022/23 campaign on loan at ES Troyes in Ligue 1, where he made nine appearances.
Lis now makes the switch to Turkey ahead of the first-ever meeting between the two clubs owned by Sport Republic in Saturday’s pre-season friendly.
The club wishes Mateusz well for the coming months and looks forward to following his progress.
