Getting to St Mary's

IF_Southampton_Leicester_006_cvh7qa

With all the recent changes and upgrades to our footprint, we wanted to give a little update with information on some of the different ways you can get to St Mary’s Stadium this season.

By Foot

With the introduction of a new away end, now located in the Chapel / Kingsland corner, you might notice that your usual route getting into the stadium and on to our footprint has now changed.

Access into the stadium is best reached via Marine Parade, Britannia Road or via the Railway Footbridge off Northam Road.

If fans are sitting in the Chapel Stand, we would advise entering the stadium via Marine Parade. Away fan coaches will now be parked on Melbourne Street, so access for home fans on a matchday will be limited via Melbourne Street.

Shuttle Bus

Shuttle Bus from Southampton Central Station:

If you are travelling to the stadium from Southampton Central Station, please be aware that the shuttle bus from the station will now pick up from the South Side of the train station (Platform 4 side / Western Esplanade) and drop off fans at Britannia Road.

Shuttle Bus from Town Quay

If you are travelling to the stadium from Town Quay, there are two bus stops located at the Red Jet Terminal, SF2 Bus Stop (see map below) and then a third stop is located at Town Quay, between The Platform Tavern and Lower Canal Walk.

More information on the shuttlebus can be found here.

By Bikes and Motorbikes

Cycling is a quick and reliable way to get around Southampton on matchdays. The football club has free parking facilities at the stadium.

If you’re coming on a bike or motorbike, please note that our bike racks and motorbike bays have now moved. The motorcycle bays and bike shed can now be found at the front of the North Carpark, closest to Britannia Road.

Please note, if you're traveling by motorbike or a bike you should enter via the stadium’s North Car Park only and liaise with security on entry. Road closures will be in place from 90 minutes before kick-off so entry after this time will be denied. These closures will remain in place until about 20-minutes after the final whistle.

Voi Scooters

If you’re travelling by a Voi scooter, please note that the parking bay has now moved. Voi scooters can be parked under the Northam Footbridge.

By Coach or Minibus

There's free parking for visiting supporters who are travelling either by official supporters coaches, private coaches or minibus on Melbourne Street.

To book a space for an away coach or minibus, please contact PC Lee Grist via email [email protected]

Parking

There's no general admission parking onsite at St. Mary's. However, there are plenty of car parking options nearby - find the best one for you here.

Seasonal Parking at Ocean Village

We have some limited seasonal parking spaces for fans to buy in Ocean Village in the multi-storey carpark, this is sold on a first come first serve basis and 25 spaces are available to buy online here.

We’ve also introduced a shuttle bus that will run from Ocean Car Park every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 past the hour and 20 to the hour. It will drop passengers at the stadium (Britannia Road) and return buses will start 30 minutes after the final whistle from the same location.

Disabled Car Parking for Home Supporters

We're sorry but there's no more accessible on-site parking available for the 2024/25 season.
