Celebrating our 24/25 season kits
Last week we were delighted to kick off our campaign with PUMA, by hosting a special event to launch our 24/25 season kits.
Fans, along with invited VIP and media guests were able to get up close and personal with our players as part of a live kit reveal. And it’s not very often you get to announce your newest signing in-person, with Flynn Downes joining us as our newest Saint and really adding to the occasion by coming in the new home kit.
On the night, those in attendance got to hear from Jamie Oakes, Strategic Account Sales Manager for PUMA Teamwear, who gave a little more insight into this year’s designs and the inspiration behind them. If you missed it here’s what he had to say:
“We are really excited to be partnering with Southampton Football Club. With these kits we wanted to give a modern take on traditional Saints colours by taking inspiration from Southampton’s naval history with the razzle dazzle stripes. The design was first used on ships to confuse the enemy.”
Fans were able to choose their stripes on the night, with a pop-up store at the event showcasing our traditional red & white stripped home shirt as well as our away shirt which features the unique razzle dazzle stripes in the beloved Saints yellow and blue combination.
