Southampton Football Club is delighted to announce that young winger Brook Myers has joined the club and signed his first professional contract until 2026.

After completing his scholarship years at Charlton, the 18-year-old came on trial with the Under-18s towards the end of the 2023/24 season.

The tricky wide player, a right-footed left winger, impressed with a hat-trick against Reading in the U18s Premier League and sealed a contract at Saints.

On achieving his first professional deal, Myers expressed "it's something I've dreamt of from a little boy really, I just can't wait to get started.

"I knew some of the boys from before, but I feel like now I've really started to settle in with the team."

Academy Director Andy Goldie, added "Brook joins us from Charlton Athletic after impressing on trial with the Under-18s last season, and provides greater depth to the competition we have in wide areas with the Under-21s.

"He has demonstrated some exciting qualities since arriving at Staplewood and we believe this is the right environment to help him showcase these, as well as developing other aspects of his game."
