BBC Sport to stream England schoolboys fixture at Eastleigh FC
The English Schools' Football Association (ESFA) will stage its second competitive home international fixture of the year at Eastleigh's Silverlake Stadium on Friday 8th April, streamed live on BBC Sport.
Southampton Football Club's partner Utilita are backing the event through their Energy High5 campaign, which will see the England U18 Schoolboys take on their Republic of Ireland counterparts in the inspiresport Centenary Shield.
Friday's match (kick-off at 7pm BST) will be England's third of the competition, streamed live on BBC Sport's app and website via the ESFA's YouTube channel.
England manager Richy Alderson said: "I am very happy with the short journey we have had. The squad have all contributed to some good performances and results.
"We have played some very good football in the attacking third and it's encouraging to see different goal scorers."
ESFA Chairman, Mark Hignett added: "We are delighted to finally be in a position to celebrate the partnership in place between the ESFA and Utilita and it's a wonderful opportunity to be able to showcase this at Utilita's local club, Eastleigh FC."
Tickets for the game are on sale via Eastleigh FC's website, priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children.
