Saints made it three-from-three last Friday night with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Stoke City at St George’s Park.
Sam Bellis continued his fine start to the season with two goals inside the first half, including an impressive free kick from the edge of the area.
The points were secured in stoppage time, when another of Saints’ dangerous front-line, Luke Pearce, beat two defenders with a clever flick to make it 3-0.
Norwich have also had a strong start to the new season, winning two and drawing one of their opening three games.
Last-time-out was certainly eventful for the Canaries, who came away from Leeds United with a point following a 2-2 draw.

As far as action is concerned those at Lotus Training Centre were certainly not left wanting when the two sides played out a 4-3 in December.
The hosts ran into a two-goal lead inside ten minutes against a youthful Saints eleven, killing Kazeem Olaigbe’s efforts at mounting a comeback with a third on half an hour to make it 3-1.
Dave Horseman’s side grabbed another back with five minutes of normal time to play through Dom Ballard, but a further Norwich goal on 91 minutes secured the three points despite a 93rd minute Jem Hewlett strike.
It helped the Canaries secure the double over Saints, following their 3-0 victory at Staplewood Campus at the start of the 2021/22 season.
“I watched Norwich play Leeds the other day,” said Horseman, “and Leeds had quite a few first-team players in and they drew 2-2.
“Norwich obviously beat us twice last season, so it’s another tough fixture to start the season for us.
“I think Norwich are really good, have some really talented players, so any support the fans can give us would be much appreciated.
“We’re playing well now, but there’ll be some tough times. We will need their support to help kick them through.”
