Armstrong fit to return
Saints have been handed a boost ahead of Tuesday night’s clash with Coventry, with Stuart Armstrong available for selection.
The midfielder missed the trip to Blackburn having suffered a concussion last Monday in the defeat at Ipswich, but has been cleared to return against the Sky Blues.
Manager Russell Martin gave a fitness update on his squad, also confirming James Bree’s availability following suspension.
“Stu’s back in the squad and Breezy obviously, so that’s a really good thing.
“There’s going to be one or two left out of the squad and that will be difficult for sure, but everyone is fit, everyone is firing and we definitely need a reaction after Saturday.”
