Amo-Ameyaw and Dibling score in World Cup opener
Southampton's Sam Amo-Ameyaw and Tyler Dibling were on the scoresheet as England Under-17s kicked off their U17 World Cup campaign with a dominant win against New Caledonia.
Along with fellow Saints teammate Jayden Meghoma, the trio all started at the Jakarta International Stadium for their first appearances at a World Cup.
England were dominant from start to finish, cruising to a 10-0 victory in the first meeting with New Caledonia at any age group.
Dibling looked a threat and registered an assist and a goal within a five minute spell, setting up Manchester City's Justin Oboavwoduo to make the score 2-0 before finding the bottom corner himself for England's third.
In the second half, Amo-Ameyaw scored the game's fifth goal to cap off an impressive personal performance as England began their tournament in style.
