Aimee Palmer and Chloe Peplow met a group of Saints Foundation participants at Staplewood last week, to learn more about the Foundation’s project areas that are being spotlighted in today’s Saints Foundation Charity Matchday.

The roll call of our fantastic participants:

Karamjit and Shelia from Senior Saints (Health), which is our physical exercise and social activities to help over 60s improve their lifestyle and maintain their independence.

Fashir from SO14 Active (Health), our sports-based activities to help people aged 16+ in St Mary’s to lead healthier and more active lives. Fashir is a regular at our Football for Refugees sessions.

Kiera and Brooklyn from Changemakers (Gender Equality), our project empowering, inspiring and developing leadership potential in girls aged 11-16, opening up pathways for the future.

David from SaintsWorks (Employability), supporting 16-25 year olds not in education, employment, or training to take their first steps into the world of work. Changemaker Kiera also went on the SaintsWorks programme, and now works with Saints Foundation as a matchday raffle seller.

In recent months Rianna Dean, Rachel Rowe, and Kayla Rendell have all visited these spotlighted areas of work for Saints Foundation.
